Vintage 12 fret slot-head Parlor guitar with Ryan-style armrest bevel: Sold

We had a vintage parlor guitar that needed some work come into the shop recently. We have a soft spot for these little guitars so we decided to give it a little TLC and release it back into the wild. It was a good decision... with a few tweaks and a new set of strings this little parlor guitar plays as well as any other. First we took the nut slots down to where they needed to be, then dressed and crowned the frets and adjusted action to 5/64ths at the 12th fret of the big E string. A check of the neck relief showed it was spot on. Finally, for a bit of flair we added a Ryan-style armrest bevel. The floating bridge and ladder bracing give this little guitar a nice bluesy mid-range bark, and the short 23.3" scale length and 1 3/4" spacing at the nut make it very easy to play. It's pretty sweet.
